Ricoh terms and conditions of promotion

1. ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is open to any resident in the United Kingdom who is eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Access to the internet is required to enter this promotion, but no purchase is necessary.  This promotion is being run by Ricoh UK Limited, of 22nd Floor, The Broadgate Tower, 20 Primrose Street, London, EC2A 2EW whose registered office is located at Ricoh House, 800 Pavilion Drive, Northampton, NN4 7YL (“Ricoh”). Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any determinations made by Ricoh in connection with the promotion.


2. TO ENTER: You will need to be a registered Twitter user who is resident in the United Kingdom. You simply need to tweet using the #2polite4business hashtag saying why you should win a pair of ATP finals tickets, for Monday 16th November 2015.

 

Each tweet will be deemed as one (1) entry per person (registered Twitter account holder) into the competition. You may only submit one (1) tweet. Entries will not be valid if they do not include the #2polite4business hash tag and do not also include a reason as to why you should win the pair of ATP finals tickets for Monday 16th November 2015 for the evening session (post 6pm).

 

Ricoh is not responsible for entries that are lost, corrupted, delayed, or otherwise not received for any reason (including technical difficulties).  Proof of sending a tweet is not proof of entry.


3. TIMING: This promotion runs for one (1) day, specifically from 11:30:00 GMT on 11/11/2015 until 15:59:00 GMT on 11/11/2015 (inclusive).


4. GROUNDS FOR AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION:  Ricoh will automatically disqualify: (i) any entrant who makes more than one (1) entry; (ii) any entrant who makes an entry which, in Ricoh’s reasonable opinion, violates the Twitter  terms of service (as set out at https://twitter.com/tos?lang=en); and/or (iii) any entry which is sent by someone other than the registered Twitter account holder. Entries from employees of Ricoh UK Limited will not be entered into the prize draw.

 

5. SELECTION OF WINNERS: All valid entrants will be submitted for the prize draw. There will be four (4) winners, who will be chosen at random by the Ricoh team. This prize draw will be conducted between 16:00:00 GMT, 11/11/2015 and 10:00 am 12/11/2015 GMT. The winner will be contacted by Ricoh via Twitter, asking for the entrant to follow @RicohUK back, so that the entrant can be DM’d (direct messaged) to understand next steps on how to claim their prize.  If a potential winner cannot be contacted, through no fault of Ricoh , within 24 hours after the first attempt to contact them, an alternative winner will be selected at random. All potential winners may be asked to demonstrate their eligibility before they are entitled to receive the prize.  .

 

6. PRIZE: There will be four (4) prizes in total, which will be (4) pairs of ATP World Tour Finals tickets for the evening session (post 6pm) on Monday 16th November 2015. Prizes are as stated and are not transferable. The tickets are only on offer for Monday 16th November 2015, and cannot be transferred to any other date.  The Winner will be required to comply with all terms and conditions relating to ticket issue, use and entry into the venue administered by ATP or the ticket or event promoter.  No cash alternatives are available. Ricoh will contact winners via DM or email with details of how to claim their tickets at the ATP World Tour Finals, at the 02 arena on Monday 16th November 2015.  Ricoh does not accept liability for any tickets that are lost or misdirected.


7. WINNER’S DETAILS: The winner will be required to supply his/her name and email address via DM (direct message) to Ricoh for the purpose of prize fulfilment. The winner consents to his/her name, county and entry being made publicly available upon request for a period of twenty eight (28) days after the final draw date. The personal data of the winner will be held and used by Ricoh in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Ricoh privacy policy at www.ricoh.co.uk/general/privacy.aspx.  The winner hereby consents to his/her entry (which shall include but not limited to their Twitter profile, details and photograph) being used in the future in connection with further publicity or advertising by Ricoh relating to the promotion. The winner may also be requested to participate in related publicity or advertising.


8. OTHER: Without prejudice to clause 7 above, no further correspondence will be entered into with participants regarding the outcome of this promotion or application of these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Ricoh’s decision shall be final.  Ricoh reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this promotion or these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.


9. GENERAL: If any provision or part of these terms is deemed void or otherwise unenforceable in law then that provision or part shall be deemed excluded and the remainder of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in force. 

 

EXCEPT AS SET OUT EXPRESSLY IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, RICOH EXCLUDES, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE IN LAW, ALL TERMS, CONDITIONS, PROMISES, UNDERTAKINGS AND WARRANTIES (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY, CUSTOMARY OR OTHERWISE). 

 

Except in relation to any matter which cannot be excluded by or limited in law, Ricoh excludes, to the fullest extent any liability to the participant for any loss to the participant arising from or in connection to this promotion, including but not limited to loss of or depletion to goodwill, damage to data or software, infection of or damage or interference caused to any computer, loss or damage suffered by the participant as a result of an action brought by a third party and/or any special, indirect or consequential loss, howsoever arising.

 

Ricoh’s pre-existing proprietary rights in the Ricoh mark, logos or other intellectual property shall vest in remain with Ricoh and the participant is not granted any rights in the same.  ATP, O2 and Twitter and any associated symbols, trademarks and logos shall remain the exclusive property of their respective legal owners.

 

10. GOVERNING LAW: These terms, the conduct of this promotion and the interpretation and enforcement of these terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.  Entrants irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.


11. SPIRIT OF THE PROMOTION: If you attempt to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of this promotion by hacking or by cheating or committing fraud in any way, we may seek damages from you to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, we may ban you from participating in any of our future promotions, so please play fairly.
